A beautiful park...grass and shade to help keep one cooler on the days the Bakersfield sunshine is on a rampage of triple digits. A well kept playground where kids can play safely and enjoy sometime outdoors, while adults can keep an eye on them and stay cool at the same time. Bathrooms are available, they were open and stocked with toilet paper when I visited. As clean as a public toilet in a park can be. Maybe bring some hand sanitizer if you are a little (or more) phobic of germs. Overall not a bad choice, enjoyable atmosphere. Would recommend for a few hours of playtime for families and kiddos.

Is a pretty good park if you like bird watching. One time however a huge crow came down to the toddler playground, walked around for a good five minutes and then finally left when an older man and his dog showed up!

Nice clean walk path. Grass and bushes are kept up with. Playground for children was clean and graffiti free. It is a great place to bring friends and family for events or just a quick hangout.

Great, we loved it and had so much fun looking at Christmas lights. Makes for a very romantic evening.
